What is the Orgone Energy Blanket?

Based on original work by Wilhelm Reich, the Orgone Energy Blanket has been developed to induce the body and mind to rest, recover and re-energise.

How does it work?

The Energy Blanket works by reflecting away external energies that may be influencing the body and also by reflecting back to itself the body's own energies. The blanket is used for helping the body to energetically re-compose itself, and may be used with other treatments recommended by Neil.

The effects of the Energy Blanket are reportedly achieved through the reflection of a patient's own infrared and ultra-high frequency emissions back onto their body. A special membrane composed of several layers inside the blanket is designed to prevent the body's electromagnetic emissions from dissipating outwards. The same layers reflect the emissions back to the body. These reflected emissions have the effect of redistributing the charge density on the skin and exerting some energetic action on the biologically active points of the body surface.

How does it feel?

The first thing you usually feel, subjectively, when being wrapped in the Energy Blanket is complete and pleasant protection. All external electro-magnetic and electro-static influences are blocked and reflected away.

You may then become aware of subtle shifts as the blanket reflects back the body's own infrared and ultra-high frequencies. You may also feel warmth focused in a particular part of the body, which usually passes within minutes.

Patients have also reported experiencing a sense of inner peace and quiet that leads towards a state of response something like meditation.

How long is does an Energy Blanket treatment last?

It's recommended you rest or even sleep within the blanket - from 10 minutes to a few hours. Usually, if you sleep completely covered from head to toe, you awaken with a definite sense of completion. Often a short period, from 10 - 90 minutes, accomplishes this result.
Used in combination, a Humanergetics massage followed by some time in the Energy Blanket can enhance the effects of both the massage and the Energy Blanket.
